Sat Nav on iPhone
JUNE 2009 UPDATE: TomTom software has been confirmed for the iPhone – Read More.
Since the launch of the iPhone 3G last week, stories are surfacing on the availability of a full Sat Nav application. Rumours were flying around prior to its launch that TomTom had a full version of its mapping software ready to launch, and according to Gizmodo, TeleNav have a version ready for release too. Nothing as yet has been confirmed on release details, but it would seem that there are a few issues that the software vendors will need to resolve first.
Software developers have stated that the iPhone SDK (software development kit), bans the use of real time navigation, presumably to avoid any potential lawsuits from people directed into a ditch by their iPhone. No doubt developers such as TomTom and TeleNav will be working closely with Apple to make sure this doesn’t happen.

Martin Fields Screen protectors are probably the best you can get, fitting them is quick and easy and they really do make your phone look like new. I’ve recently bought them for my Nokia N82 and my Canon Eos 400D camera. I know it’s probably really obvious on how to fit them, but a few friends that bought them really struggled to fit them, so here’s my quick guide to fitting your Martin Fields Screen Protector.
Just follow the steps below to fit the screen protector to your phone:
Installation:

Step 1: Wipe the screen with a lint-free cloth to remove dust and contaminants. |

Step 2: Carefully peel off the protector skin by lifting the edges. Take care not to leave any finger prints on the protector surface. |

Step 3: Carefully position the protector over the surface of your phone. When the protector is lined up correctly, gently lay down the protector onto the screen of your phone. |

Step 4 : Use a bank card and gently push any remaining air bubbles out to the sides of the screen. |
Maintenance:

Removal: Remove the screen protector by using sellotape. Place the sellotape about an inch on one corner of screen protector firmly.Hold the other end of the tape and slowly lift it up |

Cleaning : Wash the screen protector by dipping it in water or holding it under a tap. Dry it by using hair dryer. Alternatively, please use sellotape to pull the dust, lint, or contaminates, off of the screen protector. |
